Official Pre-Summit Event of the India AI Impact Summit 2026
JRC, in collaboration with its partner India Child Protection, hosted the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) affiliated Prosperity Futures - Child Safety Tech Summit (India Al Pre-Summit Event 2026) on 13 January 2026 in New Delhi.
It brought together various government stakeholders, experts from leading tech companies, international universities and civil society to demonstrate Al's practical role in safeguarding children. The summit launched Raksha Al, a suite of three predictive tools that analyse data, generate risk-heat maps, and identify vulnerable geographies and emerging threats.
Summit participants witnessed the tools in action. Law enforcement agencies, including the Railway Protection Force and the cyber bureaus of Maharashtra and Telangana recognised their potential to prevent harm to children at scale, dismantle offender networks, and strengthen child protection nationwide, reinforcing India's leadership in Al for social good.
