Just Rights for Children's Bal Vivah Mukti Rath Campaign Completes 100 Days of Action Across India

The Bal Vivah Mukti Rath concluded its journey across 28 states, 439 districts, and 69,174 villages on International Women's Day — bringing together faith leaders, elected representatives, students, and communities in a shared resolve to end child marriage by 2030.

Just Rights for Children (JRC) is a network of over 250 organisations working to prevent violence against children especially rape and sexual abuse of children.

Working in India, Nepal, Kenya, and the United States of America, JRC aims to create a scalable, ecosystem-level response through legal interventions and community engagement.

We strive to build a holistic approach towards justice that focuses on preventing crimes against children, protecting, and rehabilitation of victims, and prosecuting the perpetrators by promoting innovative and sustainable solutions, and catalysing long-lasting systemic behavioural change in favour of children.

Our goal is to eliminate impunity against all forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation by reaching the tipping point of legal action and deterrence.

PRIYA’S STORY
